{"id":354,"date":"2018-04-23T13:15:48","date_gmt":"2018-04-23T13:15:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/?p=354"},"modified":"2019-12-11T09:01:02","modified_gmt":"2019-12-11T09:01:02","slug":"customising-invoices-and-confirmation-emails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/customising-invoices-and-confirmation-emails\/","title":{"rendered":"Customising Invoices and Confirmation Emails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you need to append or modify the information provided in the Invoice and Confirmation emails Event Gate provides the ability to modify the header and footer regions.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the customise invoice header and footer buttons on the Payments tab, in the Edit Event wizard under invoice settings:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/576fe147d56489622e0436c5dcf6a208.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Customise Header and Footer options:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/5d2226466f591bb372768f0dd54d2d70.png\" width=\"336\" height=\"272\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Note that the Customise Invoice Header and Footer options apply to invoices and confirmations (if no funds are required).\u252c\u00e1 The customisations apply to both the invoice\/confirmation pages as well as the corresponding emails.<\/p>\n<p>To customise an invoice header or footer, change the option from the default &#8220;No&#8221; to &#8220;Yes&#8221; and a text editor will appear with the default details:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/880ab295bcd690260884463a3c34dda9.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can then click in the text editor, displaying the default details, and make the required changes.\u252c\u00e1 The above image shows the addition of a note and terms and conditions link.<\/p>\n<p>After you make you changes ensure that you check that the display as expected in both the web page and generated email by clicking the Preview button:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eventgate.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/f54c3405e60ba6979c37e6d8f9903722.png\" width=\"310\" height=\"158\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After you have reviewed your changes, navigate to the last tab, &#8220;Invite&#8221;, and then click the Finish button to ensure your changes are saved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you need to append or modify the information provided in the Invoice and Confirmation emails Event Gate provides the ability to modify the header and footer regions.
